What Have You Been Doing?

Even though I haven't been blogging, I still have a lot to share.  I just haven't gotten around to it!  Here's just a sample of what we've been doing lately:

We went to Pittsburgh for my nieces' baptism.  Isn't Ella just the sweetest little girl in her Christening gown?

The kids love Aunt Kathy, because she always showers them with gifts!

Little Brynn slept all day after her baptism.

Andrew was impressed with Brynn's tiny hands.

We've also been spending a lot of time outside.  Who wouldn't, with this gorgeous weather?!  Poor Sam is the only one in the family who isn't allowed outside.  One evening, he longingly watched us eat pizza on the front porch without him!

Warm weather is perfect for biking!  Andrew took his Scooby Doo motorcycle out for a spin one day.

He rode his bike up to my parents' house and then played pirates with me on the back yard play set.

It's almost time for Easter, and the boys are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Bunny.

Last weekend, we spent an evening coloring eggs.

Andrew wrote his name (or had me write his name) on every one of his eggs!

Mastering the spoon technique.

Jake was a little more generous with his eggs, and made one especially for Pap.

Sammy didn't care much about dying the eggs, but he enjoyed playing with the box!

Amazingly, it was an evening without arguments!  We even had moments of brotherly love!

Andrew has some interesting decorating ideas.

He's a little heavy on the paint.

He wasn't amused when we joked that his eggs looked like boobs!

Yesterday we took the boys to Ritchey's Dairy for ice cream and then visited the Martinsburg play park for a little while.

The boys had fun on the tire swing.

And on the regular swings too!

That's it in a nutshell!  We've also gone out a few times, visited some friends, and of course done the typical daily stuff like homework and chores.  It doesn't seem like a lot, but life is keeping us busy!  We're looking forward to the four day weekend coming up!  I'm sure we'll find a way to pack it full of fun too!
