We took the pontoon out today with our boys, my brother and sister-in-law and my nieces. Today was the last chance we have to boat until August 10th, and we may not even be able to go then. With Me back to work, and Greg's goofy schedule, our boating days may not yet be over, but they are rapidly dwindling - something we aren't too happy about. But...today was a great day! The weather was perfect. The water was warm, and we all (except Monique) jumped off the back of the boat...
...and of course I took lots of photos. Now that's the way to spend a day!
The boys practice floating.
Dad is the only one who seems to have difficulty getting his toes out of the water!
"Uh...Dad, floating is the most important principle in swimming. Let's try again, OK?"
"That's it! You got it! Relax, feet up, arms out! You're a natural now!"
"Boy am I glad to be done with Dad. Adults are really slow learners!"
"Mom, on the other hand, floats like a pro!"
Bundled up!
Brooke, Kiersten & Jake
We made a quick stop at the resort for ice cream and carp feeding, then headed back to the boat.
That ought to teach Jake not to get mouthy!
"Jumpin' off the back, don't act like you don't want to!"
Everybody, now!
Yes, Andrew, you too...
"Party in slow motion. Mmmm...motor boating."
"I wonder when they're coming back? I feel like widower to the boat in the summer."
Poor Sammy.
