Jacob for President

On Tuesday, as the country voted for our next president, my first born ran for office of kindergarten class president. His party promise was, "Vote for me and I'll give you more toys!" He ran a tough campaign, promising freshly brewed coffee to anyone who voted, but in the end he did not win. By Harbor House rule, however, the person coming in second does not lose, but rather gets Vice Presidency. Jacob was OK with that because, "the vice president has a lot of responsibility too." Graciously handled. And we are all proud, nonetheless. There were 6 boys in his class and 7 girls. He lost by one vote.
