I should know by now that working with people requires careful wording. Yesterday I asked one of my case managers to put a box of stuffed animals into my office for a family engagement event that we had at work this morning. Well, she put the animals in my office, just not exactly how I expected. I'm thinking she didn't do this alone, although I have yet to pin down the exact culprits yet. Take a look at what I saw when I opened my door:
Dear God, it looks like a smiley face exploded in my office!
Perhaps these guys will be my new case managers, after I clean house this week!
Aw... a little runner lion, just for me!
Apparently they like to organize community resources, as well as toys and cleaning supplies!
Apparently a few want to work community outreach events! I'll keep this in mind next time I have to "gently persuade" someone to volunteer for a Saturday morning!
Thanks, girls. Even though you made a mess of my office, it was an easily cleanable one, and it certainly made me laugh!
Now come on and fess up! Who assisted Lisa? I know she wasn't alone!
(Oh, and a big thank you to Kohl's too. They donated those animals as well as a ton of really nice books. They have donated time and goods to us often over the last few years. What a great store!)
